How To Apply

Required Documents for Submission

Applicants must provide the following documents as part of their application:

1. Completed Application Form

2. Official Transcripts

  • – Must include undergraduate coursework from an accredited institution.
  • – Minimum GPA: 3.3 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

3. Resume or CV

  • – Should highlight cybersecurity experience, research, coursework, certifications, internships, and relevant projects.

4. Two Letters of Recommendation

  • – At least one must be from a faculty member familiar with the applicant’s academic performance.
  • – The second can be from a faculty member, employer, or professional mentor in cybersecurity or a related field.

5. Personal Statement (Essay)

– 500-700 words addressing the following:

* Why are you interested in the SFS program and a career in government cybersecurity?

* How have your educational background, experiences, and skills prepared you for this program?

* What are your long-term career goals, and how does SFS align with them?

* What cybersecurity issues interest you the most, and how do you plan to contribute to the field?
